BGS has received information from several residents and from the local
Media, of a felt events from 12:10 - 12:40 today, in the area of Norwich
and the surrounding area. People have described  "the whole house shook"
and "rocked our office building" and "a loud bang". Data from the BGS
seismic network in the region were examined and a signal consistent with
a possible sonic origin was recorded at 12:13 UTC on station in the
area. The reports received are also consistent with historical
observations received for previous events in the area for events with a
sonic origin.

The RAF were contacted but could not confirm if aircraft were
operational at the time.=20
