SEISMIC EVENT: SICHUAN/YUNNAN BORDER 30 AUGUST 2008  08:30 UTC  5.7 MW

ORIGIN TIME		:	08:30 52s UTC
LAT/LONG		:	26.28? North / 101.92? East
DEPTH			:	10 km 
MAGNITUDE		:	5.7 Mw
LOCALITY		:	Sichuan/Yunnan border region


Latest reports indicate that at least 38 have been killed, some 500 others have been injured and over 250,000 homes have been damaged.  It occurred in a region which was severely affected by the devastating 7.9 Mw earthquake which occurred on 12 May, killing at least 70,000 people (with over 18,000 still missing) and causing injury to at least 374,000 others.
