SEISMIC INFORMATION: ISLAY, ARGYLL & BUTE 14 JANUARY 2011 22:45 UTC 2.1 ML
BGS have received a handful of reports, this morning, from residents on the island of Islay, Argyll & Bute of a felt event last night at 22:45 UTC. Reports have been received from Bowmore, Port Charlotte and Kilchoman. Reports received described "felt like a very heavy road roller passing the house" and "you could quite clearly feel the vibration". The following preliminary information is available for this earthquake:
