SEISMIC ALERT:  ARROCHAR, ARGYLL & BUTE 29 FEBRUARY 2012 14:55 UTC 2.4 ML

BGS have received reports from residents of Arrochar, Strontian and Lochgoilhead of an event today at 14:55 UTC.  Reports described " we felt quite a loud, short rumble. Sufficient to rattle a couple doors" and "I work in heavy construction , it felt as if a 28000kg vibrating roller was sitting beside me for 3 seconds".
