SEISMIC ALERT: ARROCHAR, ARGYLL & BUTE 4 MARCH 2012 23:23 UTC 2.8 ML
BGS have received reports from residents of Arrochar of an event 4 March 2012 at 23:23 UTC. Reports described "I have never felt anything so violent before in Arrochar - very frightening" and "I was watching tv in the dark on my own with my 2 dogs. My husband ran down the stairs after hearing a loud bang and feel the house shake. We were both very alarmed and will look for possible building damage in daylight first thing tomorrow".
