Description: | The Seismology Laboratory (http://www.seislab.cn/) in the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS, http://www.igg.cas.cn/)?conducts essential research on the Earth’s interior structure?and dynamic processes?while collecting and delivering high quality seismological data. The laboratory provides instrumental and technical support?for portable seismic array observations, aiming toward?the seismic?structure beneath China and other regions worldwide, as well as collaborations on?geophysical?research, data sharing and optimization. At present (July, 2018), the laboratory has ~440 sets of broadband seismometers imported from abroad.?With its professional technicians and equipment, the laboratory is able to provide services related to the inspection, maintenance and development of seismometers, as well as standard processing of seismic data. Datasets from temporary deploymentsNECsaids projectThe NECsaids (NorthEast China Seismic Array to Investigate Deep Subduction) array was set up to study the details of the upper-mantle structure beneath northeast China to better understand the geometry and deep subduction process of the Pacific slab.Event waveforms of the North China Interior Structure Project (NCISP) Deployment #1-7 are available from http://ds.iris.edu/ds/. |
