| Description: | The Geophysical Institute belongs to the group of institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences working in the field of earth sciences. The research and observation activities in the institute are devoted to the study of phenomena and processes in the field of seismology, geomagnetism, gravimetry, physics of the atmosphere, ionosphere and geospace.
