Preliminary GT List made available with 80,446 events from 1959 to 2022. GT5 events were selected based on the criteria of Gallacher at al. (2025).

188 new events for July to December 2020 have been added to the Ground Truth database, events up to 2020-12-31 are available.

362 new events for 2019 have been added to the Ground Truth database, events up to 2020-01-01 are available.

152 new events from the second six months of 2018 have been added to the Ground Truth database, events up to 2019-01-01 are available.

254 new events from the first six months of 2018 have been added to the Ground Truth database, events up to 2018-07-01 are available.

A small number of station anomolies have also been fixed so please also download the current station list.

338 new events from the second six months of 2017 and 250 events between 1980 and 2010 have been added to the Ground Truth database, events up to 2018-01-01 are available.

Database maintenance involved the changing of several event numbers to link correctly to the main ISC database.

4 new GT5 underground nuclear explosions have been added to the Ground Truth database, events up to 2017-09-03 are available.

ISC hypocentres from 1964 to 1979 have been updated from the ISC rebuild.

Five new events from Nicaragua and Costa Rica have been added to the Ground Truth database, proposed by the CTBTO RSTT Workshop in Costa Rica on September 2015

The following events will be removed soon from the Ground Truth database, since a more comprehensive revision carried out by the contributors (Ali et al., 2013) showed that these hypocentres do not meet the GT criteria (Bondár and McLaughlin, 2009).
